a great resource in Buffalo

TOY is an awesome resource for introducing kids to all that is great about theater. Their shows are always entertaining for grown-ups as well. The theater itself is a beautifully restored old movie theater, in a quaint neighborhood - cool in itself for suburban kids. The productions are well-acted and imaginative, they use creative ways of portraying special effects and moods. Afterwards, their are usually question and answer sessions for kids to talk to the actors. They do a variety of a shows, geared to different ages (nice that they let you know not only appropriate ages but running times). My teenagers have now graduated to adult theater but we look back at our days at TOY fondly.
